Key Account Manager-Pot Plants

JOB CONTENT

The Key Account Manager-Pot Plants will execute sales and marketing related activities for Dümmen Orange in China for a specified area and/or specified crops servicing key accounts. The primary objective of the Key Account Manager-Pot Plants is to secure key account sales and manage key account portfolio of designated areas and/or crops. Introduce and manage (new and existing) crops and varieties based on the portfolio of crops of Dümmen Orange has to offer and help to provide technical and marketing support to customers is an integral part of this job.

TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Key Account Manager-Pot Plants is primary responsible for:

·Secure key account sales and manage key account portfolio of designated areas and/or crops (product, services and royalty license).

·Define and implement sales plan for your key accounts (by areas and/or crops), and report on the progress of your sales plan (including predefined budget targets). 

·Execute all necessary sales and marketing activities to achieve targets:

·Plan objectives and visits for coming period and discuss these with Crop Lead

·Visit all clients according to plan.

·Provide visit reports of every client visit according template, including pictures and report to Crop Lead.

·Make a preparation for and actively participate in commercial meetings (monthly) and technical support meetings (regularly)

·Handling of technical issues from key accounts (client) and ensure that key accounts (client) get the right technical support.

·Administration of key accounts (client) information and communication after contact with key accounts (client) or prospect.

·Placing and coordinating orders with Customer Service department

·Acquire and expand knowledge of the varieties grown by key accounts (client) and know their performances

·Daily/weekly coordination with sales team, Crop Lead and Commercial Director.

·Collection of payments

·Visit and participate in exhibitions

·Actively manage individual and team key performance indicators 

·Actively manage customer relations  

·Involving technical support specialists in order to provide the right service and advice towards customers (in close cooperation with Crop Lead).

·Provide input to the Product Managers on the right PMC’s and developing the right pipeline for assigned areas/crops

·Inform Management Team on budget progress and all relevant matters regarding market/customer/competitor developments 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

·Bachelor degree or above

·Give priority related working experience in cut flower

·Good computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office 

·Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken level

·In possession of a Car Driving license

·Well organized, flexible and proactive attitude

·Good interpersonal skills and good team spirit

·Result oriented and getting things done

·Ability to work independently but also a team player 

·Excellent communicator and networker, able to make connections

·Energetic and a high degree of commitment

LOCATION

·Travel (+/- 125 days per year)

·Based in Kunming
